We approached Péter over a year before our wedding (which we later found out was highly unusual). From the moment we first exchanged emails, Péter made us feel like we were his most important project and there was no idea too grand or crazy he couldn’t make happen on our big day. We had a considerable challenge cut out for our future MC: we wanted an effortless wedding (requiring a lot of legwork in the leadup) with a black tie dress code and a super fun atmosphere so the 100 strong international crowd (most of whom were meeting for the very first time at the wedding) could bond and have the time of their lives.
An event that has never happened and will likely never happen before, with most of our closest family and friends in one geographical location. Oh yes – and we could only meet in person one year and then 3 days before the wedding because we live overseas. Péter did not only rise to this challenge, he far exceeded it. We lost count of the number of hours we spent talking with him about our story, our families, the details of the day, perfecting both Plans A and B ensuring that no detail went amiss.
Péter was patient and attentive, contributing ideas and frankly telling us if something was not going to work the way we intended. He also shared his experience and impressive industry knowledge, making recommendations for vendors we hadn’t decided on yet. On the day he checked in with us and our parents in the morning to ensure the key figures of the day were ready. Somehow he did not only make our day effortless, he made the preparations itself effortless.
